| Great Leaps: Committee solicits volunteers to work with students who require additional assistance with reading fluency.
GREAT LEAPS READING FLUENCY PROGRAM: This program implements the use
of phonics, and reading short phrases and short stories, to help
students become more fluent readers.
NEEDED: Adults who are willing to volunteer their time to have STUDENTS read to THEM! Each class will have 3-5 students in need of this extra assistance with their reading. It only takes 5 minutes to work with one student. Volunteer times and days are flexible:
morning or afternoons - one day a week or more.
